Reopening!

We are very excited to announce that the WAAC will be opening its doors to you again starting Monday, July 19th! Our immediate offerings will include our morning pool-playing session and our fitness rooms. Pre-registration is highly recommended, as physical distancing is still required. Drop ins are welcome, but we cannot guarantee availability.

Exercise classes will start the first week of August and registration for classes will open next week – I am just finalizing a few details first!

We fully expect to be able to add in more of our regular programs shortly, so make sure you watch this space for the latest Centre updates!

Please note that the provincial mask mandate is still in effect in indoor spaces, even for those who are fully vaccinated. As such, masks will still be required in the WAAC.

BEAR WITH US!

We are working on some updates to the website. What does this mean for you? Things will be getting moved around and consolidated to eventually make site navigation easier. But until we get everything lined up, you may wind up looking at a blank page when you click on a link. Not to worry! We will be adding the content to the right locations over the next little bit. In the meantime, you should still be able to find what you are looking for by using the “Search” button and entering a few key words.

We appreciate your patience!

CENTRE UPDATE ON COVID-19

As mentioned above, we are reopening with limited programming for the time being. We fully expect to be able to add more programs to our calendar shortly. Your membership not only gives you access to the current activities (pool playing, fitness rooms, exercise classes), but as we return to normal, your membership will provide you with access to many other programs and activities, both at the Centre and off-site. Please check back often for reopening updates and click here and here to to learn about all of the programs the Centre usually runs.
