victoria day

Many ask, Why do we celebrate Victoria Day? Queen Victoria is considered the Mother of  Confederation so we celebrate the birth of this historical woman.

For most us, it is informally considered the beginning of the Summer Season as well as planting season.  So to all of you, today we want to say. Happy Victoria Day.  May you have a wonderful day and we hope you enjoy the fireworks display from Wallaceburg we found to share with you.

  1. I am so very impressed with all the information that you have shared with us. The suggestions/information have been very helpful.

    I have a question.

I was wondering if there is any way, you could explain some of the information that is given by premiere Ford that applies for us seniors?

It was great to find the extra GST money in my account, I didn’t know anything about it before it happened. I did hear about the $300.00 one time bonus we will get with our Old Age Pension. Which is nice.

I am curious about something I read that said anyone over 70 years of age should still isolate when some of the restrictions are lifted.

It is very evident that I am over 70 years of age, I am also very independent. My niece has been going out doing all of our shopping, which I am so grateful for.

I was wondering if perhaps you could decipher the information from the government and keep us informed about the items that apply to us.

You are doing a fantastic job and I thank you for all that you do. I sure don’t want to add to your workload but this information would be so helpful.

    Thanking you in advance.
