BBQ weather is in full force with the aroma of foods cooking on the grill fill the air.  Today we have a wonderful delicious barbecue hamburger recipe.

Ingredients

¾ cup shredded cheddar cheese

½  cup crumbled cooked bacon

1 envelope onion soup mix

2 pounds lean ground beef

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the cheese, bacon and soup mix. Crumble beef over mixture and mix well. Shape into eight patties.
  2. Place patties flat on wax paper and refrigerate for about an hour before cooking.
  3. Grill burgers, over medium heat until a thermometer reads 160°F /70°C or higher or until juices run clear about 5-7 minutes on each side. Serve on bun with lettuce and tomato or how you desire.

Additional Options: You can change this recipe up by substitute your different flavours of cheese.
