BBQ weather is in full force with the aroma of foods cooking on the grill fill the air. Today we have a wonderful delicious barbecue hamburger recipe.
¾ cup shredded cheddar cheese
½ cup crumbled cooked bacon
1 envelope onion soup mix
2 pounds lean ground beef
- In a large bowl, combine the cheese, bacon and soup mix. Crumble beef over mixture and mix well. Shape into eight patties.
- Place patties flat on wax paper and refrigerate for about an hour before cooking.
- Grill burgers, over medium heat until a thermometer reads 160°F /70°C or higher or until juices run clear about 5-7 minutes on each side. Serve on bun with lettuce and tomato or how you desire.
Additional Options: You can change this recipe up by substitute your different flavours of cheese.
