Do you want to feel better and more energetic, improve your health, and enjoy time with friends? If so, then you may want to put on your dancing shoes! Dance offers so many health benefits, like improved balance and coordination. It reduces stress and anxiety and is a great cardiovascular workout, while allowing you to be creative and young at heart!

Line Dancing

Line dancing is a great form of exercise for the older adult community to improve strength and muscle function, increase balance and flexibility as well as improve cardiovascular and heart health. Everyone benefits from exercise and line dancing is so much fun, it doesn’t seem like exercise. Videos of the steps will be emailed to participants so you can practice between classes (if you want to – no pressure!).  Join us for a toe-tapping good time!

Date and Time: Tuesdays 5:30-6:30pm

Location: WAAC Fitness Room

Cost: $3.00 per class. Pre-registration is required.


Coming Soon - Adult Hip Hop

Join Victoria and learn a short dance combination to a variety of popular songs. There is a new combination each week, so you don’t even need to worry about remembering last week’s number or practicing between classes (but you are more than welcome to!) Choreography is designed with older adults in mind.
