We have several unique and fun fitness classes that help keep us active and enjoy the best years of our live. These classes are tailored for our age group and mobility levels. With a variety of classes, there is sure to be one that is the right fit for you. And check back often, as we are always looking to add new classes. Come on out and enjoy the unique opportunities that await.

VON SMART (Seniors Maintaining Active Roles Together) classes offer low-impact aerobic, balancing, and strengthening routines. Each class begins with 30 minutes of active movements. Balance routines precede the strengthening portion of the classes using free weights, therapeutic bands and balls. Participants are encouraged to challenge themselves but always listen to their body’s limitations. Modified, but equally effective exercises can be provided to accommodate any special needs of individual participants.

Cost: $3.00 members/$5.00 non-members per day
Dana will determine the capabilities of participants and what they wish to focus on throughout the session. Usually this class will incorporate some weights, cardio, etc. and will always end with stretching. This class will be a great way to get back into the exercise habit while having a great time!

Cost: $3.00 members/$5.00 non-members per day
Join Dana for this great seated exercise class. This class incorporates light weights, weighted and non-weighted balls, body weight, and the occasional tension band, ending with a period of stretching. Exercises are mostly done seated or with the assistance of a chair.

Certified Yoga Instructor Annie will be Zooming into the WAAC to help participants explore and learn about the power of our mind /body connection and the healing powers of mindfulness through gentle stretching, strengthening and breathing practices through a balanced session combining physical postures, breathing, and meditation to promote mental and physical well-being.
