Family Service Kent is bringing back its popular “Buy One, Get One Free” Frozen Meals promotion during the month of August! The focus is to help older adults (60+) and persons with disabilities (18+) offset some accumulating costs related to the current pandemic. This offer applies to our frozen entrees, breakfast packages, and soups to ensure that everyone has access to affordable and nutritious food.
With an affordable menu of over 100 entrees, soups, breakfast snacks, and desserts, CHAP offers a variety of frozen meals ranging from $2.25 to $6.00 each.
They are nutritionally balanced, home-style meals prepared by dietitians specifically for seniors/diabetics and are easily cooked in the oven or microwave. Special diets including lactose free, gluten free, minced, and pureed meals are also available by request.
Bi-weekly meal orders are due by the first and third Wednesday of each month. Meals are available for pick up at Family Service Kent on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month. Free delivery within Chatham-Kent is also available for those individuals and families who may have limited access to transportation.
