We are traveling a little far afield today for our Wonders of Nature post. Randy Parent, who has contributed pictures to our website before, provided us with these gorgeous pictures taken on an African safari a few years ago. He was able to capture beautiful images of lions, hippos, cheetahs, giraffes, rhinoceroses, monkeys and more, all in their natural habitat. He also took stunning landscape photos of the African savannah and the tallest waterfall in the world, Victoria Falls. Some of these pictures look like shots from the Lion King come to life!
What a difference a week makes! Last week, I posted a lot of beautiful spring pictures. As I was driving into work today, admiring the beautiful snow (but still thinking “Why do we have this much snow in late April?”), I decided to postpone the planned pictures for today. Instead I grabbed the camera, went out into the cold and took many of the same pictures again to truly highlight how stunning nature can truly be – and how quickly she can change. So even as we complain about the snow, we can appreciate the majesty and wonder of nature around us.
Today’s video is longer than normal, at 42 minutes, but it is so stunning, I had to post it. In today’s video, we will take a virtual walking tour to Croatia and discover the stunning Plitvice Lakes National Park.
Plitvice Lakes is one of the most unique places to visit in Croatia. Walk along boardwalks suspended over crystal-clear water and enjoy the amazing nature scenery and soothing sounds. Enjoy a scenic walk around turquoise Plitvice Lakes and explore the countless cascades, picturesque waterfalls, amazing rock formations, and fascinating plants. The water is so clear that you can see plenty of fish swimming on the bottom!
Enjoy the tranquil ambiance of this place, listen to relaxing nature sounds, and let this amazing 4K virtual walk fill your day with harmony. Imagine yourself walking here and enjoying your day… Behold the numerous cascading lakes, explore different hiking trail of Plitvice Lakes Natural Park, unplug and reunite with nature. Nature is so pristine and inviting! Take in every minute being in nature and relax! Listen to the soothing and relaxing sounds of the waterfalls and immerse yourself in the beauty of Croatian nature!
As always, if there is a specific city or site that you want to have a virtual tour of, just let us know and we will do what we can to make it happen!
Spring is here! Really here, not “here because the calendar says spring is here.” The sun is shining brighter, the wind is warmer (mostly!), the trees are starting to grow their new leaves, the flowers are starting to bloom. With all this beautiful growth and reawakening happening around us, how could we not feature the beautiful spring all around us? My only trouble was picking which pictures to post!
If you have any pictures you would like to share with us and possibly have featured on our website, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
If anyone has ever owned a pet, you know that they can be quite silly – both on purpose and unintentionally. The same is true for animals that haven’t been domesticated. So today, instead of memes and jokes, it’s all about capturing the right moment when animals are being funny. Even if they don’t realize it.
