This is the third addition to our new weekly series called Trivia Thursday.  As usual will be a list of trivia questions and a short story below which have the answers hidden with in it. We have made some answers obvious while others might be harder to figure out.   The answers are posted in the comment section. Do you think you can figure it out?

Story:

Two little ducks headed towards the quarry when came across a stagnate pond filled with turtles.  They yellow duck quietly quacked “ It has been so quiet over yonder, we wondered what going on.  Eve and I are going to investigate to see if the quarrymen are still there”

The turtles laughed as the larger one asked “Do you think you are GI Joe and Private Barbie?”

Like water rolling off her back the brown duck spoke up  “Lilith just leave them, they have as much courage as a Mr Potato head has a brain and lack a humerus bone as well.

Lilith and Eve weaved their-selves through the field with a bit of difficulty It was hard to navigate with the wheat above their heads.  Suddenly they came upon some large hoofs, looking up they saw a Moose. 

“Hello up there” they peeped loudly.

“Well hello down, there my name is Ralph Kramden and who might you be”

“I am Lilith and this is my sister Eve we are heading to the quarry can you tell me if we are going the right way?”

Yes you are. I am heading that way too.  It been awful quiet there for the last 24 hours, wonder what the quarrymen are up too. Hopefully they left for good. Would you two little ducks like a ride on my back?”

He knelt down and you could almost hear his kneecap hit the ground. The duckling hopped on his back. When Ralph rose up the two little ducks could see the full moon sinking into the horizon.

When they reached the edge of the quarry they all realized why it suddenly was quiet. It was as if someone had open Pandora’s Box. The quarrymen must have hit an unknown underground river because what they saw before them was a lake. The duckling were ecstatic to find a new lake.  It felt like they won the lottery and they headed to Switzerland.  They head to the edge of the new lake with their new friend to be the first one to go for a swim.  It is true hope remains when Pandora’s Box is open. The Moose received his greatest wish for the quarrymen to leave and the two little ducks received a new home.
