Virtual Tours are back! We first brought you virtual tours in the spring during the initial lockdown as a way to allow you to see places that you couldn’t visit. There are so many beautiful places around the world that so many of us will never be able to see in person for many different reasons. But that shouldn’t stop us from still being able to enjoy them! So we will be bringing you virtual tours from locations around the world. Look for these posts every Friday!
This week, we are going to take a walking tour around London, England to check out some of the best Christmas light displays across the city for Christmas and New Year 2021 . We know that Christmas was a week ago, but this Christmas Lights Tour from merry old England is too beautiful to wait until next Christmas to share.
The tour starts in Covent Garden with its beautiful large ornaments, Christmas trees, and mistletoe. Then we get to see view Leicester Square and Oxford Circus all lit up for the season. Continue on to the famous Regent Street and The Spirit of Christmas’ Angels Walk. See the world-famous window displays at Hamley’s Toy Shop, followed by a walk to see Selfridges amazing Christmas tree displays before ending in Chinatown. Enjoy!
